Baby Dedication

We celebrated Baby Miles dedication this past Sunday. After a special service at Glenview, we headed to Auntie Jen and Uncle Ron's house for a yummy brunch. We had a fun time visiting friends and celebrating little Miles and the blessing he is to our life!!! What made the day more special is that is was also Ella's actual birthday. It was such a special day for our family!!

All of our children are so special to us.....this weekend we were able to celebrate two of the most precious blessings in our lives. Thank you all for your continuous prayers as we raise them in the way of the Lord.

Saturday, we had Ella's 2nd birthday party....our theme was TinkerBella!! It was so much fun!! We celebrated with great friends and family, yummy food, crazy jumping in the bounce house, adorable clothes, fun toys, and making wishes with pixie dust!! I truly can't believe my little baby girl is already 2 years old....it has gone by way too fast!! Here are a select few of our plethora of pictures!!

Update on Hudson

I know everyone is wanting an update on Hudson. With school starting this has been my first chance to give an update. We spoke with our doctor a week ago and she is going to have us come in once a month to measure his bump. She talked with the radiologist and they still don't think there is any reason to do a CATscan. Some days, I feel like it is smaller, and other days I feel like it is the same. I don't think it has gotten any bigger though.

Last Thursday while at dinner, I noticed a bump under his shirt on the left side of his chest. I compared it to the other side and his top rib bone was sticking out.
Friday, we went to the doctor to get it checked out. She thought it was 2 bones fused together, so she sent us to get xrays. After waiting all day for the results, we found out that his bones looked great....in doctors terms, no tumor in the bone and they were not fused together. So, she told us to watch it for 4-6 weeks to see if it grows. If it does, we will do a CAT scan.
Today, Paul talked with our doctor again and asked for best and worst case scenario...best case- fatty tissue under his rib bone making it push out, in which it will dissolve in the next 4-6 weeks. worst case- a cancerous tumor.
She really feels it is fatty tissue since there weren't any dark spots on the xray. She is holding off on the CAT scan so Hudson isn't exposed unnecessary radiation.
Hudson is fine and doesn't notice anything...it doesn't hurt him.
Please pray this is just fatty tissue that goes away and pray for our family as we are waiting the 4 weeks to see if there are any changes.

Last weekend we took our last trip of the summer to Houston to visit Teta and Gueddo. We hung out at the house, had fun shopping, and ate a lot as usual. We really enjoyed our weekend!!
