Father's Day 2009

We celebrated Father's Day with my family on Saturday night. I (yes, me.) cooked a big meal for the family. Paul helped a little, but overall, I prepared the meal. For those of you who don't know me, I am not a great cook- well, I don't cook enough to know if I am a good cook- Paul is an amazing cook, so I usually leave the cooking up to him. But since it was Father's Day, I really wanted to make a meal for him and our family!! So, Ryan, Jen, and Miles & Mom and Dad came over and we enjoyed a quiet evening at the house- by quiet I mean we had a 3 year old, a 1 year old and a newborn....so you can imagine.
Dad, Ryan, & Baby Miles Auntie Jen & Baby Miles- this was their first big outing with the family.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Saturday night we had my roommates from Baylor over for a little cookout!! It was tons of fun to get together and just hang out!! Our kids got to know each other pretty well. Ella was her usual bossy self and brought Carter to tears (then put on the most pitiful I'm sorry face to apologize) and decided to keep pulling Hudson's hair. Ella was definitely in a mood....but she finally decided to warm up. We had a great time together....it is so nice to have that connection with friends that you can always pick up right where you left off the last time you saw them. We are all spread out, Lauren's in Austin, Whitney's in Richardson, and Tif's in Oklahoma....so it is nice when we can spend time together!!
Kendall and Ella first meeting. Ella showing Aunt Tiffy where her nose is!!

Ella's reaction when told to stop pulling Hudson's hair.

Carter, Ella, & Kendall playing with Dixie in the kitchen.

Carter is a hit with the ladies, "Hey, Baby" was his quote of the night.

This is the only picture I got of Hudson all night, although I wish I could have caught a picture of his dance moves.

Lauren, Amanda, Whitney, Tifani

Thanks girls (and your families) for a fun evening!!! And Jess we missed you and your little family!! Hopefully we can catch you next time!!

Little Miles

I just wanted to update you with pictures of our precious little nephew. He has grown up the past 2 weeks so much!! Unfortunately our family hasn't been able to see him since we have all been sick (Paul & I with a sinus infection and Ella with double pink eye and a sinus infection.) But we are all better now and hopefully we will get to go visit soon!!
We miss you little Miles, but we love the updates Uncle Ron & Auntie Jen give us!!

How 'Bout Them Cowboys.......

This past weekend we had the great honor of attending the opening of the new COWBOYS STADIUM!! I really don't know what was more excited, getting to be there for the opening event at the new stadium or seeing GEORGE STRAIT sing....he is AMAZING!!! We started with a good ole BBQ in my parents backyard. Paul cooked and we ate.....plus, what would an event be at my parents house without our traditional Red Oven Red Velvet cake. Eisie got to experience The Red Oven and even learn a little history about it.
Here are my parents in their backyard.
The Eisenhours and Us
T & Eisie!!Drum Roll Please...........
The New Cowboy's Stadium!!!!We saw our friend Michelle at the concert...she is always dress too cute!!Jerry Jones and Jimmy Johnson were there to enjoy the opening event and listen to a little country music!!They did open the roof about 1/2 way through George's songs....The whole crowd was chanting, "Jerry open the roof!!"

LeAnne Womack went on in place of Julianne Huff....she was pretty impressive!!
Blake Shelton was by far the most entertaining, I don't know if he is like that at every concert or if he was just drunk, but he was hilarious!!

The Queen of Country Music Reba...yes, she did sing FANCY in a bright red dress.

The KING of Country Music:GEORGE STRAIT!!!!
I think he was more excited about being at the new stadium than singing the concert. But he did an amazing job!!

It was such a fun, memorable night. Thanks for going with us Eisies and mom and dad, we really enjoyed it!!

We All Scream for Ice Cream

Summer is here, but you can't have summer without an End of Year Class Party. Hudson & Ella's school had an end of year ice cream party for their kids. It was my last day of school with checkout and crazy stuff and Paul was sick, Hudson called Nana and Papa to see if they would come to his End of Year party. They happily agreed. Now we didn't think about the effects of Nana and Papa leaving without the kids after the party. But they had a great time!! They ate ice cream and played!!
Here is Ella with her class.Ella with Papa enjoying ice cream!!
